About Me

Hello! I am Ana Isabel Castillo Pereda, with a degree in Mathematics from the National University of Trujillo (Perú). I hold a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from POLI-USP, with doctoral studies in Automation and Control, and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Mathematics at IME-USP. As a professor and researcher, I work on systemic risk, neural networks, machine learning, and stochastic models. My passion is teaching and inspiring students to explore the intersection of finance, data science, and applied mathematics. I believe that sharing knowledge means expanding horizons.
